Role:
The Infographic Designer & 2D Animation Specialist is responsible for transforming complex information, data, concepts, products, and processes into engaging visual stories through static infographics, animated infographics, and 2D motion graphics. The role combines graphic design, storytelling, illustration, animation, and visual communication to create compelling content for digital marketing, corporate communications, training, advocacy, education, social media, presentations, websites, and multimedia campaigns.

The Infographic Designer & 2D Animation Specialist is responsible for transforming complex information, data, concepts, products, and processes into engaging visual stories through static infographics, animated infographics, and 2D motion graphics. The role combines graphic design, storytelling, illustration, animation, and visual communication to create compelling content for digital marketing, corporate communications, training, advocacy, education, social media, presentations, websites, and multimedia campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infographic Design
Design high-quality static and interactive infographics.
Translate research findings, reports, statistics, and technical information into visually compelling graphics.
Develop process diagrams, flowcharts, timelines, maps, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Design annual reports, fact sheets, brochures, posters, and presentation graphics.
Produce infographics optimized for web, mobile, print, and social media.
2. 2D Animation & Motion Graphics
Develop engaging 2D animated explainer videos.
Animate infographics, icons, charts, and illustrations.
Produce motion graphics for:
Social media campaigns
Corporate presentations
Product demonstrations
Educational content
Public awareness campaigns
Advertisements
Animate characters where required.
Create transitions, animated titles, lower thirds, and kinetic typography.
Synchronize animation with voiceovers, music, and sound effects.
3. Storyboarding & Visual Storytelling
Develop visual concepts from creative briefs.
Create storyboards for animation projects.
Translate scripts into visual sequences.
Simplify technical or scientific information into understandable visual narratives.
Recommend the most effective visual communication approach for each project.
4. Illustration & Graphic Design
Design custom icons and illustrations.
Develop vector artwork.
Create visual assets for branding and campaigns.
Ensure consistency with brand identity guidelines.
Design templates for recurring communication materials.
5. Multimedia Production Support
Collaborate with scriptwriters, videographers, editors, marketers, and subject matter experts.
Prepare visual assets for video production.
Integrate animations into multimedia presentations.
Support production of e-learning modules and digital training content.
6. Brand Management
Maintain visual consistency across all communication materials.
Ensure all outputs comply with organizational branding guidelines.
Develop reusable graphic libraries, templates, and animation assets.
7. Project Management
Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously.
Estimate production timelines.
Meet project deadlines.
Maintain organized project files and version control.
Participate in creative review meetings and incorporate feedback.
8. Research & Innovation
Stay updated with design trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies.
Explore AI-assisted design and animation tools where appropriate.
Continuously improve production workflows and creative quality.
